My kids had so many questions after a very small incident running their bikes that took us to the urgent care. They already knew about bones but what about the X-ray machine? how did it take pictures through our skin? As homeschoolers we decided to research how X-ray machines work, how it takes pictures inside us and why bones are so important to protect our body. We finished the discussion making X-rays of our hands at home.
